Our Journey - From a Dream to Reality
At Irish Blood Motorcycles, we believe in the power of dreams. Back in 2008, we transformed our dream into reality in the bustling workshops of Dublin Harley-Davidson, Dublin Triumph, and Rosso Ducati. Our founder, Jeff Murphy, had been dreaming about custom motorcycles since his childhood and had always been an avid admirer of Irish and international custom builders. When he launched Dublin H-D in 2007, Jeff merged his twin passions – art and motorcycles – into a potent combination. The first custom motorcycle was rolled out in 2008, and the vibrant Shamrock-Skull logo was etched out – and thus, Irish Blood Motorcycles was born.
The Inspiration Behind The Name - Celebrating Irish Heritage
The inspiration for the name "Irish Blood" was sparked by engaging conversations with our numerous international visitors, especially from America, Canada, and Australia. The phrase "Irish Blood" would often come up in discussions about heritage. We were so inspired by this that we decided to incorporate it into our brand, as a tribute to our Irish heritage, our indomitable spirit, and our unwavering obsession with creating the perfect custom motorcycle. We hope that every ride on an Irish Blood motorcycle celebrates this Irish determination.
Our Custom Creations and Apparel - Riding Into the Future
Over the years, we've crafted custom motorcycles based on a range of models including Harleys, Triumphs, and Ducatis. Our designs are often inspired by customer wish lists, and we ensure every motorcycle we build prioritizes ride-ability, reliability, and safety. While we've dabbled in small-batch apparel production over the years, we finally launched our Dublin city center store in 2022.
